What it does is, every time you get a visitor to your website, this
includes all the spiders on the internet, you get an email. In this email,
you get their ip address, if your visit came from a search engine, it
tells you what search term they typed in that ended up being a visit to
your website. Also this email function can be turned off and you can log into your FTP and download all the visitors information. Now that I know with 100% certainty what search terms the search engines are listing my websites under, it enables me to modify my sites and tailor them to be found under the search phrases I want them to be found under. This can be turned on and off as well and the emails it sends to you. You can tell it to display 100 last visitors on your site or whatever amount you want to set it to. What it will do if you were to set it to post the last 10 visitors to your site is, as the visitors are posted, the list moves down. So whomever was in the first position will end up being moved down the list until they drop off the list entirely. Of course you can also turn it off so it does not show any visitors at all and in this mode it simply alerts you to any visitors to your website like the emailed examples above. You can rename your main site in your host to index.shtml instead of the usual index.html and everything will remain the same. Although this can be done now by using a separate js file, it is an extra step we felt we should delete from the script in order to make it as simple as possible.
